Carolyn Bacon is an opera, musical theater, and cabaret singer based in San Francisco. Known for her imagination and versatility, she enjoys moving from big stages to behind the camera and everywhere in between. Highlights from the last year include making her professional operatic debut in Germany, starring in a Japanese TV show, singing opposite Black Cat favorite Mark Robinson in a Sinatra tribute show, and competing in the New York semi-finals of the Kurt Weill Institute Lotte Lenya Competition. The backbone of Carolyn’s swinging trio, Brian Fitzsousa is a pianist, composer, and musicologist, currently working on the music staff of the San Francisco Opera and music history faculty at the San Francisco Conservatory. Brian studied jazz in New York and at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts, whose premiere jazz combo and big band won top prizes in national competitions in New York and Boston.
