Edu Ribeiro Trio – Sounds of Brazil

Edu Ribeiro is a 5-time Grammy Awards winning drummer, composer, producer, and educator. He has released over 15 albums both as leader and collaborator in various formations. His latest project is the Edu Ribeiro Trio, which was formed in January of 2022 and is already receiving much critical acclaim. Along with guitarist Vinicius Gomes and bassist Noah Garabedian, their music takes you through a trip through the music of Brazil and beyond.

He is a founding member of Trio Corrente and Vento em Madeira, with over 10 albums released and countless presentations on four continents. Ribeiro has worked alongside some of the most important names in Brazilian and international music, such as João Bosco, Yamandú Costa, Ivan Lins, Hamilton de Holanda, Mônica Salmaso, Leny Andrade, Leila Pinheiro, Stacey Kent, Maria Schneider, Brad Mehldau, Randy Brecker, Paquito D’Rivera,
Sadao Watanabe Mike Stern, and many others.
